The Data Nation Accelerator is a pan-Wales initiative that is being developed to accelerate new insight, foresight and intelligence from diverse data assets for societal, health and economic impact.

Processing Your Personal Data
When visitors submit comments or Contact Forms on the site we collect the data shown in the comment or contact form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. By submitting a comment or completing a Contact Form you give your consent to collect the personal data provided and process it for the following purposes:
- Responding to enquiries
- promoting our services
- safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
- ensuring student’s safety and security
- preventing and detecting crime
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Who receives your information?
Your information remains with the WDNA team and the website administrators and is normally not shared with any third parties, unless relevant data is deemed a threat to safety and security or if deemed possibly criminal. The WDNA holds this data for the purposes listed in the “Processing Your Personal Data” section.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data
